The company commissioned us to research:

TITLE: Graphic Printing Technician

DEPARTMENT: Digital machine & Enameling

REPORTS TO: Department Manager

SUMMARY: Research, create and develop essential ceramic industry related graphic design for the Bullnose and Cove Base production.

• Responsible for the development of new products with digital printer machinery as well as the Bullnose and Covebase lines following the timing with the Plant Manager, Production Manager and Laboratory Manager.
• Test the colors before the production begins to confirm if they are matching the standard sample signed off by customer
• Responsible for following the directive or instruction of the Laboratory Manager.
• Save and organize properly the files in the server pertaining the business of Bullnose Covebase.
• Support the Bullnose and Covebase Line Technician and Digital Printing Specialist during the production
• Organize the standard samples in according with Bullnose and Covebase Line Technician and Digital Printing Specialist and lab manager
• Responsible for written and verbal communication with the vendors that effect the digitization of tiles
• Responsible for continual evaluating the quality assurance of the digitization process.
• Will coordinate the production of samples with the Lab Technician
• Responsible for disposal off the inks used in production, in the proper and safe manner, following
• all product SDS forms from the manufacturer.
• Will follow Laboratory Manager’s directive.
• Light physical effort required. Continuous mental and visual attention required. Demonstrates the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with the body, arms, and/or legs. Repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
• Guaranteeing and Maintaining OSHA-compliance.

MUST HAVE:

• Technical Training
• Previous experience in the role.
• Fluent English.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments (ceramics).
